North duck zone will open one week later than in previous years, resulting in a single statewide opener for the North, South and Mississippi zones on Sept. 29; daily Canada goose bag limit increased to three birds per day.
The season is expected to look similar to previous waterfowl seasons overall as far as season length and duck bag limits, but with one significant change on the duck side of the season – the duck zones would all open on the same day, if NRB members approve the season framework as offered by the DNR.
