Rob Drieslein has been a professional newspaper and magazine outdoors scribe in Minnesota since 1992. In 1997, he became editor of Minnesota Outdoor News and was named managing editor of the Outdoor News Publications in 2003. In addition to his editorial duties, Drieslein hosts Outdoor News Radio (syndicated by Learfield Communications), and he’s written for several national and regional magazines including Pheasants Forever, American Rifleman, and Northern Wilds. Living in the Twin Cities, Drieslein and his wife of 20 years, Annette, raise three sons and a daughter, all of whom enjoy canoe camping trips in the Boundary Waters, hiking, recreational shooting, and fishing Minnesota’s lakes and streams.
