Fishing Highlight of the Week: Lake Dunn in Village Creek State Park near Wynne produced a 16-pound, 5-ounce largemouth bass Feb. 28, which would have topped the 16-pound, 4-ounce state record caught by the late Aaron Mardis March 2, 1976. The problem was Paul Caldwell, who has fished the lake for years, did not hold a current Arkansas fishing license when he caught the behemoth bass.
