Arizona public is invited to a March 22 discussion on the future of hunting, fishing and wildlife management

Sportsmen/women, wildlife enthusiasts, and other members of the public are invited to a meeting on Thursday, March 22, 6-9 p.m. at the Arizona Game and Fish Department at 5000 W. Carefree Highway in Phoenix, to discuss how constituents can best unite and work together on issues and challenges affecting the future of hunting, fishing and Arizona’s wildlife.

Fishing Highlight of the Week: Lake Dunn in Village Creek State Park near Wynne produced a 16-pound, 5-ounce largemouth bass Feb. 28, which would have topped the 16-pound, 4-ounce state record caught by the late Aaron Mardis March 2, 1976. The problem was Paul Caldwell, who has fished the lake for years, did not hold a current Arkansas fishing license when he caught the behemoth bass.
