Catskills Fishing Report – October 5th, 2012

At last look, both the Beaverkill and Willowemoc were clear and wadeable. Water temps were dropping. Nymphs fished in the pocket water have been effective. Catskills Fishing Report – September 7thth, 2012

In general, the region’s trout streams were in need of rain as of late last week, and some cooler nights would help, too. Beaverkill/Willowemoc Clear, very low, with early-morning water temps in the mid-60s. Probably should leave the trout alone until conditions improve. East Branch of the Delaware Fishable, with some olives, Isonychias and spinners seen later in the day….
