A different approach to firearms season

The first weekend of the Illinois firearms deer season is Nov. 22-24, so naturally I have been thinking about it for several weeks and making my plans. For most of my deer hunting career, I made sure to get to my treestand, ground blind, or cushion at my hunting location while under the cover of darkness during firearms season.
