Streams of Thought: Transfer of more Minnesota state lands to tribes could have widespread implications

State legislators often are accused of much taking as sessions progress – your money (taxes), gun rights, just to name a couple. But would it make you feel better to know the elected have been in a more giving mood the past couple of years? Last year, it was Upper Sioux Agency State Park in southern Minnesota, which was transferred to the Upper Sioux (tribal) Community.
For an encore, DFLers in 2024 are upping the ante.
