Wisconsin bait shop slowly recovering after flooding that rocked New London community
Dealing with flooding is nothing new for John Faucher, who has run Johnny’s Little Shop of Bait on the banks of the Wolf River in New London, Wis., the past 15 years.
This year was different, however, and Faucher and his wife, Ann, are still cleaning up after flood waters entered their shop in late April. The business was closed for 15 days and reopened on May 2, the state’s inland fishing opener, but with work still remaining.
