Land O' Lakes, Wis. Troy Martinez, of Oconomowoc, will likely see his name in the Wisconsin record books after he took a 640-pound black bear with bow and arrow Friday, Sept. 8, west of Land O' Lakes in Vilas County.

Martinez and his friend, Al "Buck" Janny, also of Land O' Lakes, had been hunting the big bear they called "Scar Face" for several years. The large boar had a noticeable scar on his nose.
