Southeast Minnesota Fishing Report - October 18th, 2013
Look for bluegills in three to five feet at lakes Hall, Budd, and Sissiton or crappies on the five- to eight-foot structure of Hall and Budd. Walleyes are hitting jigs tipped with minnows or Twister Tails at night in the channels between the aforementioned lakes. Duck and goose hunting has been good with mallards, pintails, and teal in bags, but pheasant action has been poor.

The Mississippi River is giving up crappies in the 15-foot snags and sunfish along the wing dams in 20 feet. Silver bass remain active on the river, while crankbaits or minnows are producing saugers and some walleyes along the shoreline and wing dam areas in less than six feet during low-light periods.
