South Central Pennsylvania Fishing Report - November 23rd, 2012
Raystown Lake (Huntingdon County)
Spoons and hard and soft jerkbaits were taking nice catches of smallmouth and largemouth bass. Catches were reported around Newton Hamilton. Striped bass also were reported by anglers trolling live bait or casting spoons to schools of baitfish. Artificials and live baits were catching quality yellow perch around grass beds. Channel catfish were hitting on cut bait in the backwater areas.
Raystown Branch Juniata River (Huntingdon County)
Walleyes were taken below the spillway of Raystown Dam. Smallmouth bass were hitting near the Corbin Road Bridge.
Little Juniata River (Huntingdon County)
Conditions were good, with water in the 50s on Nov. 6. Hatches included caddis and blue-winged olives. Green Weenies (12-14), Green Caddis Larvae (14-18), Zuddlers (4-8), Slump Busters (3-8) were fishing well.Edit Module
