Central Illinois Fishing Report - November 29th, 2012
Lake Bloomington
Crappies slow to fair and a little scattered but should improve on jigs and/or minnows. Catfish slow to fair on dipbaits, shad, and crawlers. Walleye action has been slow but should improve with cooler weather.
Clinton Lake
Crappies are being caught with jigs or minnows. Below the spillway, anglers are finding walleyes using Rapalas or sand blasters. White bass fair on blade baits.
Spring Lake
Bluegills biting along the turnoffs near rocks by the edges of the shoreline. Catfish bite slowing.
Lake Shelbyville
Muskie fishing also is good. Crappies are being found in middle to south of lake around coves with standing water. Jigs and minnows best along edge of trees.
