Buffalo, Minn. The Buffalo Days "Fishing Klinic for Kids" takes place June 12, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Lower Sturge's Park, on the east side of Buffalo Lake.

Several sponsors have combined to bring youths caps, shirts, baits, fishing products, and other prizes. Special events will include a live fish tank presented by John Hiebert, of the DNR; a demonstration by the Raptor Center; a Casting for Kids event conducted by the bass club, Happy Hookers; and fly-fishing expert Bob "Sandy" Sanderson.

These and other activities are free for the kids, who may bring their own fishing poles, or use those provided at the event.
