Ed Rice, who is married to Nancy Clancy's sister, the one I call "Beverly Bucks," bought himself a new boat this year. It's a dandy. A shiny new Lund with a 115 Yamaha and all the goodies. I am tickled for Ed and Bev. Shortly after he bought the boat, I called Ed to "talk boats" and "talk fishing" which is what guys do in the winter to keep from going crazy. Ed likes to fish, but like most working stiffs, he does not fish as much as he'd like.

When he does get a chance, Ed fishes for walleye, northern pike, crappies, perch, and sometimes bass. Since Ed and Bev vacation up at Birch Villa Resort on Cass Lake with the rest of our family each August, Ed has spent some time in the boat with me fishing for muskies. Like most of the people who fish muskies with me, Ed uses my gear when we fish together. Nancy makes sure I have extra just in case some of her family members want to fish with me. Thoughtful girl that Nancy.
