Tulpehocken Creek (Berks County)
Water was a normal level and clearing and about 37 degrees in late February. Midges (18-22) were hatching. Double-rig nymphs were the best bet. Woolly buggers (10, 8), San Juan Worms in fluorescent pink and red (14), and Prince Nymphs (16,18) were productive.
Lake Ontelaunee, Blue Marsh and Hopewell lakes
Good panfishing opportunities were reported on jigs and small minnows.
Lehigh River
Fishing was slow in recent weeks, regardless of the baits being used.
