Last weekend’s rain actually improved travel conditions on area lakes since it took care of a lot of snow, but you still need to watch where you’re going off the main roads and paths. Pelican Lake and Lake Sylvia started giving up sunfish in six to eight feet. Crappie action continues to be best during the evening hours in 16 to 22 feet on lakes John, Clearwater, Pleasant, and Granite. Crappies and sunfish are being found in 10 to 16 feet on Lake Marie, Maple Lake, and Indian Lake.
Little Jim’s Bait (320) 274-5297
