Posted on June 7, 2012

Saginaw Bay Area

Walleye fishing has been good on Lake Huron’s Saginaw Bay. The best action has come to anglers fishing in 12 to 17 feet of water from the mouth of the Saginaw River to Standish. Crawlers, crankbaits, and spoons are all taking good numbers of fish.

Grand Haven Area

Bluegill fishing has been very good in the bayous along Lake Michigan. Cohos and a few kings are hitting in Lake Michigan in 60 to 80 feet of water. Walleye fishing has been steady on the Grand River. Anglers drifting with jigs and trolling with crankbaits are taking decent numbers of fish. Pike and catfish are hitting, too.
