Southeast Pennsylvania Fishing Report - January 18th, 2013
Tulpehocken Creek (Berks County)
Water was still a little muddy Jan. 6. Streamers and dark nymphs were working. Not many midges were visible, but fish were eating midge patterns. Besides small midges, Pheasant Tails and San Juan W))orms were effective. TCO Fly Shop recommended Griffith Gnat (18-22), Prince Nymph (16-18), Copper John (18), and San Juan Worm (14).
Lake Nockamixon (Bucks County)
Anglers were still catching numbers of panfish on mealworms and some nice largemouth bass on shiners and minnows.
Walleye fishing is generally productive at this time of year for anglers targeting river channels and the mouths of feeder streams.
Lehigh River (Lehigh County)
A few trout were reported in recent weeks.Edit Module
