A good crappie bite was reported in late November.
Bushkill Creek (Northampton County)
Yields of two to three trout a day were reported, as the bite turned on mid-month.
Beltzville Lake (Carbon County)
Prior to Superstorm Sandy, the striped bass bite was going strong.
Tobyhanna Lake (Monroe County)
Anglers were catching recently-stocked brook trout on live and artificial baits.
Lower Promised Land Lake (Pike County)
Live baits were the ticket for recently-stocked trout.
Delaware River (Pike, Monroe counties)
Anglers targeting walleyes were staying close to boat launches, given the debris from Superstorm Sandy. White jigs, slowly retrieved, were the best bet in these conditions.
