Canandaigua Lake
Nothing to report right now.
Cayuga Lake
Yellow perch were being taken in the north end on fathead minnows. Landlocked salmon were being caught on the lake from the surface down to about 80 feet on spoons and stick baits.
Seneca Lake
Fishing off the pier has been very good during the day for brown trout and Atlantic salmon.
Keuka Lake
Vertical jigging in 65 to 115 feet of water around the bluff area and the Branchport arm was still producing a few lake trout.
Otisco Lake
Nothing to report.
Owasco Lake
Yellow perch fishing has been good for anglers using fathead minnows.
Skaneateles Lake
Docks have been removed from the launch. Shore fishing for rainbows continued to be slow; a few were being caught but overall it’s been slow. Yellow perch action has been good on fathead minnows.
Whitney Point Reservoir
Panfish action has been very good, with crappies and yellow perch being taken along the old river channel on small jigs or spoons tipped with spikes.
Susquehanna, Chenango, Tioughnioga and Unadilla Rivers
Not enough fishing action to get a handle on what’s happening on the rivers right now.
