MANKATO AREA
Walleyes are crushing a jig and minnow in three to six feet of water at Lake Hanska. Walleyes also are being pulled below the Rapidan Dam on the Blue Earth River on jigs and minnows. Hit Lake Washington for crappies in six feet and walleyes in eight to 12 feet – minnows also have worked best here.

ORTONVILLE AREA
Perch are hitting spikes or crawlers at the Grapevine, Manhattan Reef, and Rocky Ledge areas of Big Stone Lake in 11 to 12 feet. Manhattan Reef and the Goose Island areas are producing bluegills in 10 feet. The islands area of Big Stone is worth hitting with crankbaits for walleyes in 10 to 11 feet. Work the rock piles on the north end of Lake Traverse for bluegills.
