Landing my first ‘wiper’ (video)

I recently caught my first wiper (or whiterock bass) on Monroe Lake in Bloomington, Ind.

I used a jerk bait and 10-pound SeaGuar Red Label fluoro for the leader. I put a drop of Super Glue on the knot to make it extra strong.

We were going to get a measurement after Josh Lantz filmed it, but it slipped away while trying to keep the fish healthy in the water.
