Southwest Minnesota Fishing Report – January 24th, 2014
Cedar Lake is kicking out sunfish in 15 to 25 feet and northern pike in 12 to 15 feet. Crappies and sunfish are being found suspended over 20 to 28 feet at French Lake, while Roberds Lake is giving up panfish and an occasional walleye 18 to 24 feet.

Third Point on Lake Washington and German Lake are giving up crappies during the evening hours over 30 feet. Shiner minnows are producing a few walleyes during low-light periods off Second Point on Washington in 20 to 22 feet.

Maple Lake and the Glenwood end of Lake Minnewaska are producing panfish in 12 to 16 feet. Walleyes are most active during low-light periods on Minnewaska in 16 to 20 feet.
Minnewaska Bait and Tackle
Look for suspended crappies in 16 to 24 feet on Diamond Lake, Eagle Lake, Games Lake, and Nest Lake. The main-lake structure or 28- to 34-foot breaks on Green Lake are giving up walleyes via spoons and setlines. Green also is providing a mixed bag of panfish from 20 to 28 feet.
