Thousand Island Fishing Report – January 10th, 2014

St. Lawrence River: Ice anglers were out in good numbers on spots like Eel Bay and Lake of the Isles. A few keeper-sized perch were reported, with action a bit on the hit-and-miss side.

Black Lake: The red-hot bluegill action of the open water season has apparently carried over into the ice fishing season, with anglers reporting good ’gill fishing in several areas of the lake. Some crappie were also being reported, but keepers were a bit rare.
