Southwest Pennsylvania Fishing Report – October 25th, 2013

Allegheny River (Armstrong County) — A 51-inch flathead catfish was released by an angler night-fishing near Kittanning. A good flathead bite was reported, with bluegills the ticket.

Raccoon Lake (Beaver County) — Anglers were boating recently-stocked trout by trolling inline spinners, while shore anglers were catching trout on maggots and paste baits.

Allegheny River (Allegheny County) — Walleyes, saugers and bass were hitting, mostly on soft plastics in recent weeks.

Glendale Lake (Cambria County) — Nice crappies were reported in recent weeks.

Colver Reservoir (Cambria County) — Nice-size bass were reported in recent weeks.

Wilmore Dam (Cambria County) — Quality bluegills were reported in recent weeks.
