Southwest Pennsylvania Fishing Report – October 11th, 2013

Allegheny River (Allegheny County) — Nice numbers of walleyes, saugers and smallmouth bass were hitting around Harmar, with soft baits the ticket.

Allegheny River (Armstrong County) — A 56-inch flathead catfish reportedly was released from the Templeton area in late September, when fishing was otherwise generally slow. 

Glendale Lake (Cambria County) — Crappies were the main catch through late September.

Colver Reservoir (Cambria County) — Nice-size bass were reported in recent weeks.

Wilmore Dam (Cambria County) — Nice-size bluegills were reported through the end of September.

Youghiogheny River Reservoir (Somerset County)  — Smallmouth bass, channel catfish, crappies and northern pike were hitting in late September, but no walleyes were reported.

High Point Lake (Somerset County) — Chain pickerel, northern pike and largemouth bass were reported through late September.
