Adirondacks Fishing Report – May 3rd, 2013

Cool weather prevailed across the region, with cold and windy conditions for the two-day youth turkey hunt. Streams were generally high but conditions were improving, and DEC and the Warren and Essex county fish hatcheries were kicking their trout stocking efforts in high gear this month. Lake Champlain shore fishing for lakers and the occasional landlocked salmon was productive in the traditional areas.
