South Central Pennsylvania Fishing Report – April 12th, 2013
Little Juniata River (Huntingdon County)
Below-average flow and cold, clear water (40s) were reported Easter Sunday. Nymphing and dry flies were productive in decent conditions, with midges and blue-winged olives (18-22) providing topwater action. Trout were beginning to leave their winter holes and scatter. Streamer fishing was a good bet in low-light periods. TCO Fly Shop recommended Zebra Midges (18-22), Green Weenies (12-14), Green Caddis Larvae (14-18), Zuddlers (4-8) and Slump Busters (4-8).
