Southeast Minnesota Fishing Report – January 11th, 2013


Sunfish are hitting waxworms and crappies are hitting minnows in shallow water on Fountain Lake. Minnows are producing walleyes during the evening hours in the channel between Fountain and Albert Lea Lake.

Fox Lake has started producing good numbers of walleyes during low-light periods in eight to 10 feet. Look to French Lake for crappies and sunfish in 10 to 16 feet, while the bays on Shields Lake are giving up panfish as well.
